Teaching Resources

We will be collecting useful resources for teachers to better prepare for their students’ visit to La Union Maze.

These resources will center around things grown here at the farm — like pumpkins, chiles, gourds, cotton, flowers, etc.  If you have any lesson plans that you’d like to share with us, please use the Contact Us form on the website to let us know.

  • Visit EDSITEment  — the “Best of the Humanities on the Web” from the National Endowment for the Humanities in partnership with the National Trust for the Humanities, and the Verizon Foundation. This educational partnership brings online humanities resources from some of the world’s great museums, libraries, cultural institutions, and universities directly to your classroom.
  • Go to Time4Learning to get educational games & teaching programs for PreSchool, Elementary, & Middle School aged children.

Seasonally we will post coloring sheets that go with the lesson plans.  Check this section often to get more information.  We want  your students to have a great time on their visit to La Union Maze — and to learn something important about agriculture.
